The September 30 meeting was canceled and rescheduled for October 28, and the city website displayed an "unauthorized access" message so our Documenter was unaware of the cancellation. For the next meeting, the board continues working on a second round of funding.

The Affordable Housing Review Board meeting scheduled for September 30, 2024, was canceled a few hours before it was set to begin. After following up with the Housing and Community Services Department, I was informed that the meeting had been rescheduled for October 28.

The purpose of the Affordable Housing Review Board shall be to provide professional expertise and community perspective in the evaluation of proposals for affordable housing programming, as well as recommendations for funding. The Board advises the City Council and City staff on affordable housing matters. The Board shall incorporate principles of equity into its decision-making to properly serve the City’s minority communities.
